From Perth Hills to International Recognition: Spirits of Mahogany Earns Nine Awards in Eleven Months.
A visit to The Mahogany Inn and Distillery in Perth Hills now comes with international award-winning spirits. Since producing its first spirits in February 2024, Spirits of Mahogany, the boutique spirits brand of The Mahogany Inn and Distillery, has gained national and international recognition, collecting nine awards in just eleven months and establishing itself as one of Western Australia’s exciting emerging boutique distilleries.
What began with the installation of a still at the Mahogany Inn and Distillery in November 2023 has quickly grown into an award-winning craft spirits brand.
The Inn began producing its first spirits in February 2024, creating ‘Spirits of Mahogany’, a range of premium small-batch gins and vodka from its home in the picturesque Perth Hills. In August 2025, the distillery entered its first spirits competition, the Perth Royal Food Awards – Distilled Spirits Competition, where it was awarded Gold and Bronze medals.
Since then, Spirits of Mahogany has continued its remarkable momentum, collecting nine medals in just eleven months across Australian and international competitions.

With a signature range of gins and premium vodka available to purchase at The Mahogany Inn and Distillery, its online store and selected bottle shops throughout the Perth Hills, together with limited-edition gins and chilli vodka available exclusively at the venue and its online store, Spirits of Mahogany is building its reputation as a proudly Western Australian brand, with future plans to introduce its products to international markets.

Visitors can also experience Spirits of Mahogany Sip Sessions, held every Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 4pm in the distillery. These complimentary, curated tastings offer guests the opportunity to sample the award-winning range and discover the stories behind each spirit.
