Shipping Policy

Delivery Areas

Mahogany Inn & Distillery ships products within Australia where permitted by law. We reserve the right to refuse delivery to locations where the delivery of alcohol is restricted or prohibited.

Age Restrictions

Alcohol products may only be purchased by persons aged 18 years or older.

By placing an order containing alcohol, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to purchase alcohol.

Proof of age may be required upon delivery. Deliveries will not be made to persons who:

• Are under 18 years of age;
• Cannot provide valid identification when requested;
• Appear intoxicated.

If delivery cannot be completed due to age verification requirements, additional delivery charges may apply.

Processing Times

Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received and confirmed.

Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or during peak periods may require additional processing time.

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the destination and size of the order.

Any applicable shipping fees will be displayed before payment is completed.

Risk and Ownership

Risk in the products passes to the customer upon delivery to the nominated delivery address.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery address provided is accurate and secure.

Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

• Your order number;
• Photographs of the damaged item(s);
• Photographs of the packaging.

We will assess the claim and determine an appropriate remedy.

Incorrect Orders

If you receive an incorrect item, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange replacement, exchange, or refund where appropriate.

Returns Policy

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund where products:

• Are faulty or defective;
• Are not of acceptable quality;
• Are significantly different from their description;
• Fail to perform as reasonably expected.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind Returns

Due to the nature of our products, including alcoholic beverages and food items, we generally do not accept returns or provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases.

Exceptions may be considered at our sole discretion.

Alcohol Products

For health, safety, and regulatory reasons, opened alcohol products cannot be returned unless they are faulty or do not comply with consumer guarantees.

Non-Faulty Products

Where a return is approved for a non-faulty product:

• The item must be unopened and unused;
• The product must be returned in its original packaging;
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after processing.

Return Shipping

Where a product is faulty or incorrectly supplied, Mahogany Inn & Distillery will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

For all other approved returns, return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
